Kirsty Neale
Kirsty Neale is a sustainability specialist with more than two decades’ experience working in a range of organisations including central government, management consultancy, asset management and blue chip companies. Since completing her Masters in Environmental Technology in 2003 she has been passionate about integrating sustainability into core business practices to reap both environmental, social and financial benefits.
Her role at IHG plc (a FTSE100 hospitality company) included leading its work on TCFD, TNFD and other ESG reporting requirements. As the bridge between investors, senior leaders and the core business her role was pivotal to ensuring ESG reporting requirements (the so-called alphabet soup) were met in a way that drove sustainability forward at the same time as benefitting the business.
Other organisations she has worked with include FirstGroup plc (a global public transport operator), the UK Government’s Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), Guidehouse (an international energy and sustainability consultant), Jupiter Asset Management (working on their green funds) and Trucost (now part of S&P Global).
