Rosie Dunscombe
Rosie founded Blue Crane Consulting in 2021 to provide business and the public sector with the skills and knowledge to integrate sustainability into accounting, business decisions and strategy.
As a Chartered Accountant with expertise in environmental economics she has 20 years’ experience focussing on accounting and sustainability. Her work includes developing and delivering sustainability training for finance professionals; enabling finance teams to integrate sustainability into accounting practices; and undertaking natural, social and human capitals assessments. Strengthening the connections with biodiversity, financial accounting and ESG best-practice underpins this work.
Having started her career with the accounting firm PwC, she has worked for business both as an accountant and environmental economist, and most recently as Technical Director for the Capitals Coalition.
Rosie sits on the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) Technical Reference Group and the Institute for Chartered Accountants in England and Wales' (ICAEW) Sustainability Committee. Rosie is a Fellow of the ICAEW; holds a Masters in Environmental Technology - specialising in Environmental Economics from Imperial College London (Distinction); and has a BSc in Mathematics from The University of Warwick (1st class).
